How to remove laser etching from plastic?

Removing laser etching from plastic is a challenging task. It would be easy to remove the etch if you have a metal surface. However, you can do it here too, but you have to follow some steps.

Sand the surface:

You need to sand the plastic down. It will not remove the laser etching, but it’s the first thing you should do. It will smoothen the etch.

Fill gaps with silicone:

Now, fill the etching part with a silicon mixture. Keep in mind; it will not remove or erase the laser etching; you can just cover the area. However, it will help you to erase the laser etching. Keep following the next steps.

Melt the etched part:

After covering the entire area with silicon mixed, you have to melt that etching part or covering part. It’s the last step you are following.
